According to the Hindu Panchang, the Krishna Paksha Dwadashi that falls around fifteen days after the Bhadrapada Shukla Kalki Dwadashi is known as Krishna Kalki Dwadashi. The name of this Dwadashi is based on the Kalki Avatara of Lord Vishnu. According to the Hindu scriptures, Lord Vishnu will incarnate as Kalki at the end of the Kaliyuga to destroy the sinners and restore righteousness.
Therefore, on this day, many devotees worship Lord Vishnu or Lord Kalki with deep devotion. Worshipping Lord Vishnu on the Dwadashi Tithi is believed to remove all obstacles and bring inner peace. Hence, one should observe the Dwadashi fast to attain the grace and favor of Lord Vishnu.
For the detailed procedure of this Vrat, refer to the Kalki Dwadashi observed on Bhadrapada Shukla Dwadashi.
