Shrila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami (1494-1586 C.E.) was born in Krishnapur in the family of Govardhan Majumdar, a wealthy landlord. Shrila Raghunath Dasa Goswami from his very childhood, was completely detached from the world and firmly attached to the lotus feet of Shri Krishna. According to Hindu lunar calendar he was born on Gaura Paksha, Panchami Tithi in Madhava Masa (Magha).
He was a disciple of the Shri Yadunandan Acharya. He is one of the six Goswami(s) of Vrindavan.
