Ranga Panchami usually falls after five days of Holi festivity in rest of the India. Even in some temples of Mathura and Vrindavan, it is Ranga Panchami which culminates the Holi festivity.
The festival of Ranga Panchami is celebrated with great pomp in various areas of Madhya Pradesh including Ujjain, under which a large number of groups of Huriyares (people who play Holi) come out on the streets to play Holi. Even fragrant color is poured on the Huriyares through big pipes by Municipal Corporation vehicles.
