Shrila Narottama Dasa Thakura Appearance 1908

Narottama Dasa Thakura (1466 C.E.) was born in a Kayastha caste family. Appearing as the son of a king, Shrila Narottama Dasa Thakura also known as Shri Thakura Mahasaya showed all the bodily symptoms of a Mahapurusha (an exalted divine person).

Narottama Dasa Thakura wrote many devotional songs about the spiritual master, the devotees, devotional service, the six Goswami(s), Gaura-Nityananda and Radha-Krishna.
