Shri Vasudeva Ghosh was disappeared on Gaura Paksha Dwitiya in the month of Kartika (Damodara). Vasudeva Ghosh was born in the family of Uttara Radhiya Kayasthas, and was very intimate associates of Shri Shri Nitai-Gauranga. Every year Vasudeva Ghosh and his two brothers, Madhava and Govinda, came for Ratha Yatra in Jagannatha Puri. Vasudeva Ghosh used his music and song to preach in Bengal. He wrote many Bengali songs about Lord Gauranga which are still sung by devotees.
