Shri Vamshivadana Thakura Appearance 1757

Shri Vamshivadana Thakura (appearance time is unknown), was a well-known writer of devotional songs. Vamshivadana Thakur's home was in Koladvipa, i.e. the present-day town of Nabadvip which was formerly known as Kuliya Pahariapura.

His fathers's name was Chakari Chattopadhyaya and mother's name was Chandrakala Devi. Vamshivadana wrote wonderful poems and songs expressing the philosophy of Gaudiya Vaishnavism.
