Please read the following Data Policy carefully before using the Drik Panchang Android App provided by Adarsh Mobile Applications LLP. By accessing or using our applications you agree to the terms of this data policy.
This Data Policy describes how Adarsh Mobile Applications LLP will collect, use, and process personal information. We appreciate and value the trust that you have placed in us. Adarsh Mobile Applications LLP is firmly committed to the security and protection of personal information of our users for Drik Panchang Web and Drik Panchang Android and Drik Panchang iOS apps. Please read the following to learn more about our data policy, and how we treat personally identifiable information collected from our users.
Drik Panchang Android App provides option to authenticate with the help of Google One Tap sign-in. After successful authentication with Google One Tap sign-in, we upload user Full Name, Email ID i.e. Gmail Address, Google Account ID along with user picture URL to Drik Servers hosted in Google Cloud. This information is transferred over secure encrypted channels and is kept safe on Drik Servers. This information is never shared with any 3rd parties and is never used for any commercial gains. We use this information to personalize user experience on different devices and platforms.
Authenticated users on Android App can save or create backup of Kundali, Notes and Tithis on Cloud. Once backed up on Cloud, the saved data can be downloaded on multiple devices and available on other platforms as well e.g. Web and iOS after sign-in with the same Google account.
Data is saved to Drik Cloud only for authenticated users. Also, none of the Panchang and Kundali data is uploaded or backed up automatically after authentication. User data e.g. Kundali, Notes and Tithi is saved or backed-up to Drik Cloud only if user initiates the action after authentication i.e. if user choose "Upload All" option from app settings. Newly added list items e.g. Kundali, Notes and Tithi, for authenticated users only, are automatically uploaded to Drik Cloud.
User can request to delete the profile data by writing email to support@drikpanchang.com. If you make request to delete the profile data, we will also delete any saved data linked to the profile. Please make sure that you have taken backup of Kundali, Notes and Tithi data before requesting to delete profile data.
Further, if user doesn't Sign-in for more than a year then we flag the account as in-active and will send multiple periodic reminders to the registered email address during next six months. If during six months in-active period user doesn't sign-in, profile data as well as any data saved with profile e.g. Kundali, Notes and Tithi would be permanently deleted from Drik Cloud.
If user deletes the list items on device after authentication, it would also be deleted on Cloud. Alternatively, user can visit the following web URL to delete any Panchang and Kundali data previously uploaded to Drik Cloud.
Drik Panchang App uploads FCM Registration Token to Drik Cloud. Along with FCM Token app settings e.g. App Language, Version, Theme, Calendar Type, Time Format, etc. are also uploaded to Drik Cloud to customize Push Notifications. To customize Panchang for selected location, we upload app Geo ID and if user has customized Geo location, then we upload that as well. Please note that Panchang Geo location is different from Device Location, and we don't upload or save Device Location in any way. To track app installed base, we also upload device Android version and density.
FCM Registration Token and any user data stored along it is deleted when token expires. Hence, FCM data is not permanent and would be deleted if user uninstalls Drik Panchang app or stops using the app.
We may update our Data Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to consult this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Data Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
