According to the Hindu Panchang, the Krishna Paksha Dwadashi that occurs fifteen days after the Vaishakha Shukla Parashurama Dwadashi is known as Krishna Parashurama Dwadashi. On this day, devotees of Lord Vishnu worship and offer prayers to Lord Parashurama, who is considered to be one of the divine incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
Various Puranic scriptures of Hindu Dharma describe the observance of the Dwadashi Vrat. Sages and learned scholars have regarded the Dwadashi Vrat to be as sacred and powerful as the Ekadashi Vrat. By faithfully observing the Dwadashi Vrat, a person experiences various forms of happiness and, at the end of life, attains Vishnu Loka, i.e., the abode of Lord Vishnu.
For the procedure of observing the Krishna Parashurama Dwadashi Vrat, refer to the Parashurama Dwadashi observed on Vaishakha Shukla Dwadashi.
